Trump’s racist remarks on Ilhan Omar and Somali immigrants reveals his vision for the US as a white Christian nation

“Today, the Trump administration is closing immigration pathways by which people enter the US, and gain status when here. Asylum is dead. Resettlement is cancelled except, tellingly, for white Afrikaners. Temporary protective status, which protects people from deportation due to turbulence in their nations of origin, has been or will be cancelled for Haitians, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans, Syrians and others, leaving hundreds of thousands of people deportable to countries the US recognizes as unsafe. Fees for all immigration processes have sharply increased.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is exploring how to block pathways to citizenship for people who qualify. Citizenship ceremonies are being cancelled as people are being pulled out of line while waiting to take their oaths. Mohsen Mahdawi was detained on 14 April at his citizenship appointment for his participation in a civil pro-Palestinian protest at his university.

Trump issued an executive order to cancel birthright citizenship – the mechanism by which formerly enslaved Black Americans became citizens – that has made its way to the supreme court. And he has said he would “absolutely” denaturalize American citizens if he could.
[…]
This makes every person of color, regardless of status, a potential target. And, in a nation that remains segregated by race, where people of color often live apart from white people, ICE is terrorizing communities of color.
[…]
The strength of this imperfect nation, which has never repaired for its original sins of genocide and enslavement, is in the incredible diversity of people who make it great, in the freedoms it claims to uphold – of life, liberty and justice. This ethnic cleansing can only be accomplished through the destruction of all of the above, in ways that touch the lives of each and every person within the nation, American or not.”

And it’s not just the authoritarian Trump regime.

Trump’s racist, bigoted immigration agenda has the full support of the equally racist, bigoted right.

This hateful agenda has little to do with ‘illegals’ or deporting criminals – it’s about removing lawful residents of color from the country and preventing people of color from entering the country, consistent with white grievance politics and racist replacement theory.

I am all for ending immigration from Somalia and deporting every Somali criminal including naturalized citizens

And I’m not alone

This is the stupidest thing I have ever read in my
life.

Doubt it, he's a lot like herpes.

But if you'll look, he rarely responds to his own threads. He starts them knowing he'll get lots of reactions from our side of the aisle.
He's likely either a paid poster from the DNC, or from other leftist organizations, or even possibly a provocateur, simply posting clickbait. If he was sincere in his beliefs, he would engage rather than run away after he starts the thread.

Could ethnic cleansing occur through methods which are not illegitimate aggression , rather than through methods which are illegitimate aggression , where illegitimate aggression constitutes violence ?

In 2025, the Trump administration has introduced several policies linking U.S. citizenship and legal status to employment and economic contribution. These actions prioritize American-born workers while creating high-cost pathways for wealthy individuals and imposing stricter scrutiny on employment-based visas.
New Immigration Pathways and Costs
"Gold Card" Program: Launched in February 2025, this program offers a path to permanent residency and potential citizenship for skilled workers and investors.
Corporations can purchase cards for employees at $2 million each.
Individuals can apply for a $1 million "Gold Card" or a "Platinum Card," which offers tax exemptions for up to 270 days.
H-1B Visa Fee Hike: A September 2025 proclamation requires employers to pay a $100,000 fee per petition for H-1B specialty workers to curb "displaced American workers" and wage suppression.
Restrictions on Employment Eligibility
Birthright Citizenship Executive Order: Issued in January 2025, this order (EO 14160) seeks to deny automatic citizenship to children born in the U.S. to parents without lawful status or those here temporarily.
Impact: If upheld, affected individuals would be barred from voting, jury service, and holding certain jobs (e.g., federal or security-clearance roles).
Status: The Supreme Court is set to review the order's constitutionality in the spring of 2026.
Work Permit Lengths: The administration has cut the duration of work permits for asylum seekers and refugees, increasing the frequency of required renewals.
STEM OPT Changes: Plans have been proposed to eliminate the 24-month STEM extension for Optional Practical Training (OPT), potentially forcing international graduates to leave sooner.
USCIS Operational Changes
Law Enforcement Role: For the first time, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has been authorized to hire armed special agents with the power to make arrests and execute search warrants.
"Good Moral Character" Test: The agency now uses a more "holistic" assessment for citizenship applicants, accounting for "positive attributes" rather than just the absence of criminal records.
Application Pauses: As of December 2025, citizenship and green card applications are paused for nationals from 19 "high-risk" countries : Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo (Rep.), Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela

Employer Resources & Compliance
I-9 Verification: Employers must continue to follow federal law regarding I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, which prohibits rejecting valid documents based on citizenship status.

Self-Deportation Incentives: The administration has promoted a "self-deportation" option via the CBP One app, offering $1,000 and travel assistance to undocumented individuals who leave voluntarily.

Is 180 posts an estimate or a long standing observation ?

There seems to be examples in the different social media venues of scuttlebutt bleating that focuses on distributing a communication , as would a fee press news feed on the wire , rather than focusing on legitimizing a validity for the communication .

Eventually a response to the communication is likely to be received though likely indirectly .
