Haha no it’s not. Geez it went backwards. When a number is smaller, it’s not growth. It’s smallerThat's still growth.

It would be a 50 percent declineWhat you meant to write is if it declines to 1%. If it declined 1% it would be a fractional decline. In any event, 2-1=1. 1 representing 1% POSITIVE growth though lower than the previous qtr.
So what is your point? We had it in the middle of the current Biden recession. I posted th BEA link. Can you read a bar graph ?
It wasn't negative 1.4%.Haha no it’s not. Geez it went backwards. When a number is smaller, it’s not growth. It’s smaller
Oh, good grief....Do you not see how far down the rabbit hole you are Berg? I mean, unquestioningly taking the word of a failed US atty, that was asked to step down by Barr, and Trump and as vendetta is trying to bolster the conspiracy against him in the courts currently by making shit up without any evidence at all, just hearsay....I was going to write a post making a comparison between what we can expect from another Biden admin or Trump admin. Because it is top of mind for the country I was going to make the point an advantage to another Biden admin is we do not have to concern ourselves with him using the DoJ to go after who he perceives to be his enemies as Trump has promised to do........and did when he was prez.
Justice Department pressured former US attorney to bring cases against Trump enemies, Geoffrey Berman says

Obviously, I know what the reflexive reply from The Following will be. They will allege, without credible evidence, the votes of four grand juries to indict Trump and his co-conspirators was a deep state plot hatched by Joe. It is, at its core, a ludicrous argument to make. But it serves two essential purposes. 1. Allows The Following to dismiss Don's criminal behavior as him being persecuted. 2. Removes, in their minds, a fundamental difference between what we can expect from the two admins.
From that perspective it's easy to see why Trump uses so many false accusations. It disarms the opposition while creating a deceitful construct for his base to believe in. Like claiming Joe, absent evidence that holds up to scrutiny, has taken bribe money from foreign countries. It's utility, obfuscating Trump's established record of criminal activity including a conviction. Not to mention.........
WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump received at least $7.8 million in payments from foreign governments during two of his four years in the White House, according to a report released Thursday by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
Twenty foreign governments made the payments to Trump's businesses during the two-year period that the committee was able to review. The information in the report was first reported by The New York Times and CNN.

The replies from defenders of all things Trump will prove how effective his strategy has been.
Oh how much negative was it?It wasn't negative 1.4%.
Dude quit playng word games. Nobody cares how you want to label it. When you have GDP growths that are smaller that the previous quarter, and you have that twice in a row, that's a recession. Got it ?It wasn't negative 1.4%.
He meant "negative" by being LESS THAN the previous quarter. It wasn't negative 1.4%.
I've made numerous points here, including that we are in recession right now, in that we fit the description stated in Post # 307.So what is your point?
It was trending down; it wasn't a recession.Oh how much negative was it?
The economy is strong, Joba we're added this quarter and unemployment is only 4.1%. That's pretty good!Dude quit playng word games. Nobody cares how you want to label it. When you have GDP growths that are smaller that the previous quarter, and you have that twice in a row, that's a recession. Got it ?
I know what he meant. He meant "negative" by being LESS THAN the previous quarter.
Jobs are up, albeit slowing, and unemployment is only 4.1%. That's not a recession.I've made numerous points here, including that we are in recession right now, in that we fit the description stated in Post # 307.
4.9.......3.4..........1.4.
I am not surprised you think stupidity is logic. Next.Stupidity.
Putting one on the payroll is corrupt.
WTF?
So..................tell everyone HOW..........two prosecutors dating each other are corrupt?
And Joe Biden just had a bad debateIt was trending down; it wasn't a recession.
1.4 GDP is not "strong" It Is weak, especially when it is a decline twice from the previous 2 quarters (aka RECESSION)The economy is strong, Joba we're added this quarter and unemployment is only 4.1%. That's pretty good!
Then what's your problem ?I know what he meant.
You dont know what a recession is. We are in a recession right now, and it is Biden's 3rd one.Jobs are up, albeit slowing, and unemployment is only 4.1%. That's not a recession.
