Sorry bout that,

1. But its long overdue, PBS is a liberal broadcast that should be snuffed out kinda like the California Fires.
2. There is no way to recover it, best to just smother it out with dirt.
3. Dig up whats left of it, and cast it into the, Sea.
4. Make it exclusively cartoons, nothing else.

DOGE needs to trim all but essential functions, but especially democrat strongholds, CFPB as another example.
The Freedom Caucus needs to hang tough on their budget cutting, especially the DOGE recommendations..

Both PBS and NPR are largely funded by donations.

YOU think Faux could stay afloat if they stopped selling ads and depended on that?

Great, so they shouldn't mind losing the federal funding.

So we're going to end up with a "press" that is nothing more than competing and opposing one-sided realities, shamelessly feeding established ideologies and requiring zero (0) natural human curiosity.

And we really think that this will be constructive for the country.

Okie dokie.

Americans deserve to have the CHOICE to view what ever they want. Do not want government to tell me what to watch.

I've heard this for over 40 years.
Ditto. Every time the right and the people vote for this, it is defeated.

This time though? It appears they are going to cut out its kneess in a manner which will leave it open to easily be re-funded by the left.

Selling ads brings in Bias.
As does getting funded by billionaire foundations and the government.

Please tell me you aren't really this stoopid?

The only way to reduce such biases, is to use independent journalists that ONLY use donations from their audience.

FWIW, NPR's announcement of sponsorships are sounding more and more like ads.

I'm fine with that, but it's silly to think that those sponsorships don't cause bias at NPR, but the ads for stiffie pills control foxnews' content.
