Is the OP asking about "Barryworshippers" or the radical left?
"Barryworshippers" are mainstream Democrats who follow the party line and support the popular leader of the party almost regardless of what he does.
The radical left are progressives, socialists, anarchists, etc. who have almost no connection to the Democratic party or mainstream politics, have never supported Barack Obama, and are among his harshest and most persistent critics.
So who are you asking about one, the other, or both separately? I don't see what impact the recent election has at all on the radical left. They had nothing to gain or lose in the election and no one running who represented them. They're generally disillusioned with all American politics and politicians. As for loyal Obama followers, I think they'll chalk it up to the common anti-incumbent sentiment that more often than not prevails in off-year elections. I don't think it will have much effect on them either, although in their case I atleast understand hypothetically how it could.
