I've heard a few people in non swing states ask, "What is the point of even voting"? And then the answer hit me like a ton of bricks. They're right. If we had a popular vote only about five states would decide the presidency and 45 states would be wasting their votes. With the EC, only 7 states decided the election and 43 states wasted their time voting. So, the answer is to modify the EC so that every one of the 50 states gets one vote each. That way all 50 states would be helping decide who won the election. The winner would have to get at least 26 EC votes. Sounds fair to me and every single state would not be wasting their votes.

No worries about that happening. There are about 4 million left to count in CA and they are going about 60/40 D. She will close the gap by about 800K with the remaining CA votes.

Still expecting Trump to win the popular vote by around 3 million, with total ballots cast ~152.9 Million.
