Most libs are just useful tools. The people pulling the strings know that they must move us incrementally along.for example, Obama would never have been elected had people known the ins and outs of ObamaCare. Lying was necessary and I believe even Obama's strings are being pulled by the powers behind the scenes.

I think they know that America is not ready for what they're pushing for -- yet. They've been very patient, however, in changing the culture, lowering standards & expectations, utilizing PC and Identity Politics, and my guess is that they think they're close. And I think they're right.

Now - and again, just look at their posts here - they're counting on demographics to finish the job. Not higher standards and expectations, not effort, not excellence, just simple reproduction. They can see the finish line and it's all about demographics now.

I'll bet you they'll continue to be more honest now, because to them now it's just a matter of time.

The ONLY reason Marx wanted to go from Free Market Capitalism, falsely represented by a Totalitarian Oligarchy, to Communism, defined by the extract titled ""he Communist Manifesto", was because he was living his nightmare.
Marx states quite clearly that NOT ONE of the stages is an ideal.

2. Giving a few southwestern states back to Mexico would be fine.
3. Everyone, including the paper boy, should have a $30,000 annual minimum wage.

They deny they think these things, but some of their allies betray them by being honest.

More honesty would be better. Then we could have an open conversation.

There have been two moments in time in which it seemed to me that the hard Left was finally becoming more honest about what they were really thinking.

The first was a few years ago -- and it may have been around the time of Obama's first election -- that I was reading the Huffington Post and saw for the first time the point that the Constitution was written by "rich white slaveholders". That was (and remains) a clear signal that they want to discredit the entire document and start over, with their goal of a European-style Social Democracy in the crosshairs.

The second was the passionate defense of Obama's stunning "you didn't build that" speech, especially Liz Warren's shockingly simplistic and shallow "roads and bridges" routine, combined with this two-barreled attack on anyone who is successful. With this tactic, they have convinced themselves and others that there are only three ways to become successful to any degree - it was given to you, you stole it, or you got lucky. How tragic is that. "You didn't build that" plus "you didn't earn that" equals "you don't own that".

Again, honesty is good. I'm certain they'll be far more honest once they are confident that the demographic shift they're waiting for is complete.

But not even Glenn could have predicted the words uttered by Congressman Joe Garcia (D-FL) during a recent Google Hangout session with supporters.

During a larger discussion about the border, Garcia claimed the safest city in America is El Paso, Texas, and El Paso “happens to be across the border from the most dangerous city in the Americas, which is Juarez [Mexico].”

“Two of the safest cities in America are on the border with Mexico,” he continued. “Of course, the reason is we’ve proved that communism works. If you give everybody a good government job, there is no crime.”

Both sides are extreme left. The Democrats push the envelope, the Republicans run right behind them. Both sides grow the size of the government in every real measure, GDP, inflation, ... Every proposal from both sides is for more regulation, more control. No one is on the side of liberty.
