The Decline of Men in College: A disturbing trend.

Colleges operate largely now to make the college money $$$ or to indoctrine------degrees in movies and other such nonsense are meaningless and don't even produce higher wages leading to higher taxes. We need workers with skills that we need--colleges aren't providing this in many many cases....
I met a guy who had $75,000 in student loan debt for acting lessons...and wasn't an actor...he was working as a low skilled electrician. But he talked pretty.

Financially speaking he was in a bad way. He couldn't even service his loans much less pay them off. (Low skilled electrician makes grunt labor wages)

Some of these schools need to give statistics (as well as the people giving out the loans) as to feasibility of earning an income from the career they are working towards.

A degree in medieval French literature isn't exactly a blockbuster career so we really shouldn't be having federal loans for them...but a degree in nursing can be. (Many nurses don't even work with patients)
Then there's all the unusable teaching degrees held by people who are horrible around children. (And still not enough math and science teachers)
