Being a competent dictator, you would expect that Trump would prohibit any data being released that makes him look bad. Those phony 900,000 jobs Biden created showed the Fed that the economy was hot, too hot for a rate cut.

When in reality the economy was cooling, and job creation was slowing to a trickle.

The Fed needed to cut rates to spur on the housing market, high rates means no new mortgages or new homes being built.

BLS needed new direction and new, more accurate sampling methods.

The job report is mostly about Bidens term. It shows the job slowdown began before Trump was elected. Most of the jobs lost were under Biden

The problem isn't a lack of job openings. It's just that there are too few indoor, air condioned, sit-down-in-front-of-a-computer (preferable at home), casual dressy (or slippers and sweats) jobs offering generous pay and benefits even for entry level "I want it all and I want it now" applicants.
