Of course I agree that not all republicans are rich. Doing things right does not always end up in one becoming rich. Further, what is rich? Rich is an entirely subjective term. Still further, living from paycheck to paycheck is a time honored tradition of some folks. It's a goal they have. Even further, your politics do not entitle you to be rich. Even still further, there is zero reason a democrat can't get rich doing what democrats do. Skin color has nothing to do with whether or not you are rich. Skin color has nothing to do with laziness. However, if you are a lazy good for nothing democrat or republican you are probably not gonna go from being subjectively poor to subjectively rich by sitting on your fat ass collecting welfare instead of getting up off your ass and doing something that produces something someone is willing to pay for that pays more, or at least will lead to paying than welfare.

Course, that's the problem with the lazy, welfare is good enough for many.

You have to decide what path you are on. The democrat path of welfare, the democrat path of tyrant, the libertarian path of independence and responsibility for oneself that many republicans also profess. Anyone can get rich. It's damn easy. But you will never get there on welfare.

The irony is college is not supposed to be a trade school, but to broaden one's horizons. It should be a mix of arts and science. As far as petro industry, that is as bad as as any with downsizing and jobs available on offshore oil rigs. Have fun with that. Ungrad degree major doesn't matter.
