The real deal with it comes to the budget, deficits and government lying.

Terrorism was a big problem from before July 4th, 1776 ... Royalist were nasty fucks during the first stages of the Revolutionary War ...

Link to California's CAFR: "Comprehensive Annual Financial Report" ... go ahead and find the theft ...

To be clear ... a budget is a document created before the fact ... this CAFR is created after the fact ... we budget for 2020, our financial statements say how much we paid 2019 ...

The video sugar coats the problem ... we wish government knew this much about it's own finances, whether for good or evil, but the sad truth is we don't ... budgets and CAFR's are at best guesses, at worst complete fictions ... no one knows where the money is or where it's going and there's no way to catch it up ... imagine not reconciling your checking account for 50 years, then saying how much money you have in the bank ... you can guess, or just make up a number, but no way will you be able to say exactly ...
