The issue is whether it is legal for rancher Bundy to graze his cattle on state land as he has done for decades when the feds have decided that the endangered desert tortoise trumps state and property agreements. At issue is the BLM's heavy handed presence on property that belongs to the state of Nevada and isn't even BLM jurisdiction. Apparently several protestors have been tasered and the liberal media seems reluctant to cover the issue. Indications are that the desert tortoise in question are being euthanized in federal facilities.
