Anything alcohol that you use sparingly, should always be the good stuff, uncut by rotgut for extending, especially whiskey. As for beer, I wouldn't bring out the good stuff for yahoos, I only know on the internet either. Sometimes a "vet-bro" product is legit.

A vet marketed a little gizmo that allowed you to shoot 12 ga mini-shells out of a 12 ga. Mossberg pump and it worked quite well and was under $20.00.

I hope he did well with it as within a couple years the Chi-Coms knocked it off for half the price.
