Zone1 The Bible and democracy, what does the Bible have to say about democracy if anything?

Truth be told, the Bible emphasizes a Theocracy. The children of God don't get to vote for who their next King is going to be. The King is eternal and His Word is final. Although many modern churches have opted to choose "wokism" and/or liberalism over God's Word, God hasn't changed one iota and He's not going to change for the lunatic left. So "Democracy" really doesn't exist in God's Kingdom.
True. God is either your boss, or the devil is. There's no in-between.

Democracy for the Left has become a religion of sorts. The thinking is, the masses will always choose better than the minority. They do this despite the Founding Fathers rejecting the idea of a true democracy as they set up a Republic instead. Such things as the Electoral college and the fact Senators were not directly voted on by the people at the founding of the country enrage and offend democrats today.

But was does the Bible say about democracy if anything?
The Bible says nothing about it. The God of the Bible is an absolute monarchist, not a Democrat or Republican.

God is king, regardless of what man says or does

However, the king gave man free will to reject him.

So, you are wrong on some degree.

Naturally, as those choices deviate from choosing God, man rejects the source of all life and happiness. To further make matters worse, man now has a sin nature that has an inclination to reject God, which is why democracy can never right the ship.

Democracy is done on earth only.

In the Kingdom of Heaven there is no democracy. Jesus will rule in the New Jerusalem, and we will obey. For now we are to let the Kingdom of Heaven "come" on earth (within us) as it is in heaven, and we are to obey God while we are in the earth.

Any time there is a democracy the people born with a sin nature will chose sin. They will kill babies, they will commit all kinds of sins... homosexual, lesbian, murder, theft, adultery, lasciviousness, blasphemy, fornication, etc... The kingdom of Satan on earth is a democracy into order to keep the people in their sin nature so they die and go to hell.

Jesus says remember I told you... "Ye must be born again" so that your new nature in God through Christ Jesus you will not practice sin, and sin will not have authority over you. You will no longer be a slave to sin.

Once God frees us we must; "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled in that yoke of bondage." Kingdom of God can in NO WAY ever be a democracy because it is all about cleanliness, righteousness, and holiness.

The entire Bible is Kingdom Authority - God's Holy and Righteous Loving authority.

God says it - We do it. Therefore on earth those of us who are saved we walk in the Kingdom authority of God's righteousness and sin not.

You can believe whatever toots your horn. I just stated the fact that biblically, there's no divine mandate for democracy. The US is constantly trying to force everyone to adopt democracy, even imposing economic sanctions upon other countries and waging war, for the sake of "democracy". If Christians are truly biblical, then they won't support Western governments that engage in bullying other countries to adopt liberal democracy.

Democracy is increasingly "unsuited" for the people we have become.

People who are not saved, some of them want to be saved, BUT on their own terms only. I have observed them carefully.

They are of this earthly kingdom of Satan, and they absolutely are NOT going let go of their sins. That is a non-negotiable for them. I saw some rappers on youtube using the phrase "Glory Hallelujah" to both discuss, and promote sexual sins. With me being of the light... when I noticed exactly what they were doing I clicked off of it. I cannot deny that they were committing blasphemy. I realized they wanted salvation but only their terms. Only if they could be saved and MAINTAIN the sins of their father the devil.

The Bible does not address the concept of democracy as such as it was never invented on any kind of large scale until our own Founding Fathers came up with the concept of government of, by and for the people and thereby for the first time in history rejected the concept of monarchy, dictatorship or any other form of totalitarian government. And even they were very aware of the dangers of the tyranny of a majority that would oppress the minority which is why they gave power to the individual states and adopted the electoral college to ensure a tyranny of the majority would not have total power to choose who would lead the nation.

In the Book of 1 Samuel, the 'Children of Israel' were led by God himself until the people clamored for a king. But when they got one along with all the trappings of government that go with it. And they were not at all happy aboutit once they had it. That should be a clear warning to those who think more and more government is the answer to their problems.

But there are many recurring themes of liberty and opposition to oppressive government in the Bible. And the foundations of democracy, i.e. power to the people, can be found there.

Government programs, and their largess, are get out of jail cards for the majority of Americans. Even cold-blooded murderers are cared for like thoroughbred racehorses by the government.

Or they simply don't believe in your religious mythology. It's not that people "want to sin", is that they have no reason to believe in what you're telling them about your deity or holy book. Why would anyone in good conscience want to serve a god who tortures people in hell for all eternity, keeping them alive to be tormented forever in a fiery lake, because they didn't convert to the right brand of Christianity? Notice, it's not just converting to Christianity, you have to convert to the right type of Christianity to be spared from being tortured. Who in their right mind or with half a brain cell, would believe in such immoral, evil claptrap?

The government that secures the unalienable rights of the people and enforces necessary laws but otherwise governs least is the best government.

There is only one way to salvation and it's God's Word through the blood of Jesus.

In the secular world there is only one way to receive time in prison; by way of a judge. Some times there is only one way.

There will be a lot of people burning in the lake of fire who knew what you know about the truth of salvation, yet they refused to partake of it. They were led to the water, and refused to drink.

Repeating your religious beliefs to me like a mindless robot doesn't validate them or make them true.

Just for the heavenly record....

It is true; God is our Creator, and Jesus is the Son of God whom God sent to die and shed his innocent blood for our sins that whosoever believes and confesses Jesus is Lord; shall be saved. Jesus is the way the truth an the life no man comes to the Father except by way of Jesus.

Those who refuse the gift of eternal salvation will be judged and end up in the lake of fire to burn eternally. They will not die. They will burn in agony eternally and that is the truth. You were warned.
