Didn't they make it clear that they were protesting brutal tactics by the police? It has nothing at all to do with the military. Yet critics of the kneeling players seem to want to portray the protests in that light. It has nothing to do with "disrespecting the flag", yet critics want to portray it in that light. Why do you think the reasons for kneeling are "phony"?
Once again for those who love to debase blacks, they are kneeling for social injustice. Can you guys read or do you just agree with trump no matter what he says. Pence should not waste taxpayers money going to any game today.
Kneeling during the national anthem is social injustice and it has nothing to do with blacks or their phony reason. White players are kneeling too. And there's not any war veterans would not like to kick one of those bastards square in the throat. Why do you think the reasons for kneeling are "phony"?

Because I have not heard any logical, reasonable excuse for their disrespectful tantrums.
It seems to me that people are talking passed one another to color the protests in a way that attacking or defending the protests could be more comfortable for either side.
The players are not destroying the flag, they are not denigrating the flag, nor the troops. They are, in fact, kneeling, not burning. They are kneeling, not raising a clinched fist. They are, in fact, A,erican citizens excerising their constitutionally protected right of speech.
And yet their critics are driving a cultural wedge between A,Eric and vis-a-vis our common love of sports. Trump is driving that wedge and it is completely irresponsible and unnecessary for him to do that.
Anyway, that's my opinion of the situation. Take it with a grain of salt.
