In Greenland, JD Vance tries to make the case for a U.S. takeover
The VP said the territory would “be a lot better” under the U.S. security umbrella and scolded Denmark for not doing “a good job” by Greenlanders.

Hitler pulled off the annexation of Austria in 1938; of course he had to use troops and plenty of intimidation. Since Austria was his birthplace, it had long been his dream to bring it under the Nazi sphere of influence.
So, fast forward to 2025 and you have another autocrat, this time American, who wants to pull off the same anschuuss, this time of Greenland. Trump's motive for this outlandish idea is so easy to see. He wants to take the spotlight off his plans to dismantle Social Security and Medicaid in the U.S. while cementing long term his legacy as a great president who expanded America's borders. And, this also diverts attention from his extensive criminal background. It's like polishing a dull Apple, but in his case, it's gonna take a lot of polish,
Hitler's anschluss of Austria was one of the contributing factors to World War II. Sadly, Europe did not protest or intervene in Hitler's blatant takeover of Austria, and you've got to think that Trump is thinking the same way about Greenland. Well, he has already committed himself to a Greenland anschluss by stating that he would have Greenland "one way or the other." If he is successful in pulling that off, you have to think that Canada and possibly Mexico would be his next targets.
Put a "king" in charge of your country, and this is what you get! Bigly!!!
