In the future I would refrain from using known propagandist like Halbrook as a source, and yes Hitler expanded gun rights for the vast majority of German citizens. It was a critical component of the Third Reich. Halbrook reveals both his ignorance and his propaganda purpose by even attempting to contend that the Jews of German could have staged a revolt with their guns had they not been confiscated.
