Yes...thank you to all vets, for all that you sacrificed.

Don't forget to go get some free shit.

We're planning on hitting Applebees tonight, although I'm not clear what (if anything) need to bring as proof, like do I need to dig out my DD214 and hand it to waiter or is it just honor system.

Also = Starbucks, Dennys, IHop, TGI Fridays, etc. lots of 'em with free meal for a vet.

I would just bring your dog tags, if I were you.

Thanks, hero.

My buddy fought in Operation Desert Storm. He doesn't like to talk about it. He knows why he was there and what it was all about. He knows it had nothing to do with freedom, ours, the Kuwaiti peoples, or anyone else. The things he was commanded to do for oil and western hegemony made him sick. He wants never to be reminded of those times nor to be thanked. He knows it was for the money and the GI bill, he was a glorified mercenary, like the rest of them, plus there are the medical benefits, that was enough for him.

I didn't see one going already, so I started this thread.

Thanks, American war veterans.

If you served thank you also. To all others in the service or have served, thank you.

I have not myself served, sir. Back problems, among other things.

But thank you for your service.

God bless you.
