Wow, quite a revelation. Why didn't the Air Force enter his name in the data base?

Texas church shooting: Air Force error, anger at in-laws preceded attack

Devin P. Kelley, 26, was shot twice by a bystander before fatally shooting himself in the head, police said Monday night as they announced new details about the church shooting that left 26 dead and another 20 wounded in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Kelley should not have been able to legally buy a gun after being convicted of domestic violence against his wife and infant daughter, but the Air Force never entered his name into a federal database.

The victims of the shooting at First Baptist church range in age from 18 months to 77 years old, and include the pastor's 14-year-old daughter. "Nearly everyone had some type of injury" and about half of those killed were children, Sheriff Joe Tackitt told the Washington Post.

Perhaps we should look for instructions to the military from the previous administration directing the military not to put things like this into servicemembers records.

I'm simply making an observation..... However with the way you jumped all over that observation it might very well be a good place to start.
