Thats not a great area in Houston. Crime was high before Katrina, and after Katrina. Its the most polyglot city in the US with large Middle Eastern, Hispanic, "white", "black", and Asian populations (primarily Chinese and SE Asia).

Overall Houston is the BIG CITY, where you live to make money in the O&G industry, refining/petchems, or the medical field. Its hot, muggy, has opportunity and where the weak have no place. It is, truly Texas.

Things improve when blacks are not cut off from economic opportunities. We see they are slowly getting better, better, better. May still be a long way from right, but the black community is getting better. And you can't deny it because Trump said blacks never did better than under him. So don't argue it.
