Please tell me more about this. AFAIK, 'Palestine' was separated from the Ottoman Empire (now known as Turkey) at the end of WWI; and the creation of the Mandate for Palestine, etc., etc., etc.

That would be a bit of a gamble.

If you want to have a parallel between Indians on reservations, and Palestinians, you have to tweak the circumstances a bit.

First: Bring the US genocide against them away from the 1700's and 1800's into the modern period. Difference is that there was no situation with international laws against aggression or even the word 'genocide' let alone a prohibition on it.

Then:
Have all the powers agreeing that the reason for establishing a new state is because the world is very sorry and very contrite about doing genocide. That it must NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

Same in the US and in Palestine anyway - have the European invaders commit genocide through a series of actions, justified by pretexts, the indigenous not accepting imposed conditions which were designed to destroy them by marginalisation or through war when they objected. (The parallel works perfectly here).

In both societies, have massive racism against the 'indians'. On work, where they can live, dispensation of law (let's not call it 'justice').

Have a pow wow. Outline what is a bitter defeat of the indians, leaving them 30% of the nation, while taking 70% as the end goal of the talks. From the start, encroach on that notional remaining land with new & expanding settlements.

When nations allied to the Indians (Mexico / Canada?) try to even things up, use that as an excuse to occupy ALL indian territory. Only to be thrown out of one area, in an uprising.

Cut and slice and colonise the land that you occupy directly. Put that which you don't at siege. Stop their trade. Assassinate their leaders. Shoot their children at will with no legal redress.

When the area at siege shoots back with ineffective home made weapons, act all surprised.
