Tennessee Coach Gets Removed From A Game For Praying With The Players.

Another example of the Left keeping God out of schools. Where was the mandate that all players, coaches and staff had to pray? If anything this is a violation of the 1st Amendment.

Highschool football games take place outside, not inside of a school.

God bless you always!!!

Students are allowed to pray anytime they want. As a coach, my team asked to pray and I always let them. I just could not participate. I could pray by myself if I wanted.

They never took prayer out of schools as people like to claim. The courts just ruled that organized prayer led by teachers or administrators was an establishment of religion because participation was not all inclusive of other religions. That happened over 60 years ago. Imagine being a kids that was Jewish, or Muslim being excluded from the group.

The coach in this instance crossed the line. He had been previously warned about this by his school. The rules on this policy have been clear for many years.

This high school is my polling place and is located about 1 1/2 miles from my current location.

Its one thing for kids to pray on their own and its crossing the line for a coach or teacher to be leading that prayer. And thats a good thing.

Even if a teacher, principal, mayor etc. is reading or leading, unless there is a mandate that all students recite the prayer, then separation of church and state was maintained.

This is just another excuse for the Left to attack Christians.

Maybe they will play that team again.

This took place at a high school game in Clarksville. Go here for the story.

God bless you and the man and those who stand with him always!!!

He was pushing it on his team. If some of them and their parents had not complained nothing would probably have happened.

If the players weren't mandated to join what's the issue?

It's freedom of religion, not freedom from

It was never said who complained. To me, if the players appreciated what the man was doing for them, that right there should be all that matters, especially if they requested that he do whatever he was doing for them.

God bless you and the man and the players always!!!
