Simple formula: get a complete jackass nominated in the GOP...one that is a complete RINO in any event. 1- lack of borders and a common language is not a nation, but things don't happen instantly. We are headed towards the demise of our nation with no Borders or common language.
2-Of course not, and I do think we need to protect American workers, but we are the wealthiest country in the world and are not going thru a period of worker abuse like was present during the industrial revolution. We need to be fluid with laws that protect workers, and not trap workers into minimum wage jobs because there is an artificial floor which stifles the ability of employers to give raise on merit.
3-I believe it plays to the guilt that many non-minority liberals feel. Frankly it is difficult for me to understand because I don't think the way they do.

1. I really doubt that putting up a wall will do anything to stem the tide of illegal immigration. They'll go around it, over it, under it, or through it. It is just a right wing placebo.
