The young man in the Air National Guard shared some confidential documents online, apparently just to shoot the shit about them with his cyber buddies.

This was wrong, and Mr. Teixeira may get as many as 17 years in stir over this. But Teixeira didn't have traitorous intents here, he wasn't trying to undermine US policy, so that should definitely be a mitigating factor.

OTOH, General Milley allegedly shared information with Red Chinese tyrants for the direct stated purpose of undermining America.

As Milley is investigated next year for his crimes against humanity, the court and prosecutors should definitely consider what Teixeira received for a minor offense in determining what Milley's punishment should be.

Milley should be investigated till he's broke and confesses to something.....You know, like Flynn was.

Blood needs to drip from the other side of that lawfare sword in buckets......Same for that BLM loving cop that shot the unarmed woman on J6.

If only he had been a wealthy ex-President, he would have been fine.

Good luck getting convictions in DC for those things, buddy.

I would hope that the judge would show leniency as this was just a stupid kid doing stupid shit.

What crimes were those exactly? Be specific?

He assured the Chinese leadership that Trump wouldn't launch an attack. That the Chinese leadership had this as a legitimate concern shows how erratic Trump was.

you think that there are any Generals who are going to convict Milley? Really?

Particularly since he didn't actually do anything illegal, other than make Trump have a case of the sads.
You have no idea how that stuff works, huh?

He is also retired. He would have to be recalled, and would win whatever rump case was put forth.

The closest claim is that he talked with his Chinese counterpart. The issue of course is that was long standing policy by higher up generals and military to communicate with their Cold War counterparts to avoid a nuclear incident or escalation leading to such. There were even agreements permitting Soviet observers for major wargames so that the Rooskies wouldn't get nervous.

Insubordination isn't illegal? Sharing classified information with the Red Chinese Communists isn't illegal?

Were the actions of Julius and Ethel illegal?

Except it wasn't insubordinaton... American Generals talk to their Chinese and Russian counterparts all the time. It's why we are all still alive.

Was Trump actually planning to nuke China? I guess that would be insubordination if MIlley didn't let him do it.

But if Trump wasn't planning to do it, then Milley telling the Chinese he wouldn't wasn't insubordination.
