Teamviewer is free for personal use. The only time you might have to work on someone's computer is when you have to install a hard drive. You install it and give trade the number with someone that you want to work on or have your computer worked on with. It is free for private use. It beats having to go to the Geek Squad or have a tech travel to your house if you have someone you trust. You can work on someone's computer from your house.
