Here's the ugly truth. Taking out Immigration, America is in a demographic death spiral, like most industrialized nations. People just aren't having kids. Or at least not enough kids to maintain a replacement rate.

I recently reviewed my grandfather's 1940 census record. He was living in a small two-bedroom house, smaller than my current condo, with two kids and a border. That's what white people did when they first came here and were making it.
