just saw a commercial for this weeks Grey's Anatomy...it will be the anti gun episode....where the characters can get preachy about how dangerous guns are....of course they are using the kid finds a gun story line......
In 2013 there were 320,000,000 people in America
In 2013 there were over 320,000,000 million guns in private hands.....
74.2 million children.....
How many children were accidentally killed with guns..... 69.
So with all the preachy anti gun emotion.....swimming pools and kids drowning in them would have been a more relevant story line.......
Especially since those preachy actors walk around surrounded by heavily armed body guards...you know.....men with guns...
If anyone sees the episode let me know how it was......
And here are some stats on drowning deaths....keep in mind the total number of accidental gun deaths in 2013...505.

How big is the problem?

How big is the problem?
- From 2005-2009, there were an average of 3,533 fatal unintentional drownings (non-boating related) annually in the United States — about ten deaths per day. An additional 347 people died each year from drowning in boating-related incidents.2
- About one in five people who die from drowning are children 14 and younger.2 For every child who dies from drowning, another five receive emergency department care for nonfatal submersion injuries.1
