Number of gun murders by year in the U.S......

I've already explained it to you.

In their societies, suicide is considered acceptable and even honorable.
Correct. Japan as the main example. They respect their country, people, elders etc.. The schools don't have cleaners because the children do it, and crowds stop back after the football game to clean the stadium. You are brought up to resoect the environment. If they were to go bankrupt as an example, they feel they've let the country and people down and often commit suicide. So that's why suicide rates are high in Japan.

So suicide is very much cultural.

Moron......I know you have to dodge the truth since it is not on your side....

It doesn't f*cking matter why they commit suicide.......the only point that matters is that they commit suicide and succeed at committing suicide more than Americans do....and they do not have access to guns......you lame ass, moron....

Yeah, it kind of matters a lot. If you are expected to off yourself for failing or disgracing your family, it means you are a lot more likely to try.

Incidentally, 49,000 people commit suicide in the US, while only 20,000 do so in Japan.

Shhh, don't tell Dick Tiny that. He's convinced that gun availability plays no part in the US having the highest number of suicides in the world.

The clown is on my ignore list for good reason. I think this Japanese suicide argument has been covered a few times on here, but it never remains long in the skull of a gun nut, there's nothing in there to plug the lugs.

You know what, I'd never put 2AGuy on my ignore list. On a ranking of right-wingers, he's just not that obnoxious. He seems to have a fascination with guns and is probably touching his guns in a way that makes the gun uncomfortable, but that's him.

He just copy and pastes repetitive clap trap en masse, mainly from the NRA pamphlet.

Yeah, that's very true.

But he doesn't go around doxxing people, he doesn't call everyone who disagrees with him a pedophile, or some of the other obnoxious stuff people do here and are still allowed to post.

He just spams threads with NRA spooge because he hates the thought of the government deciding who shouldn't have a gun, no matter how crazy that person is.

But that's the thing, the government in the UK doesn't decide if you have a gun. That's up to you because it's based on background checks and it's your local police that views your record. If anything on your police, medical, driving record and social media accounts has something that makes you unsuitable to have a gun, then it was simply down to you why your application was unsuccessful.

When Harris lost, some Left Wing freaks took to Tik Tok etc.. wanting hitmen to take Trump out, harm Right Wingers etc.. In the UK, that would be viewed by the police and tough shit, no gun for you. Did the government deny you a gun, or did you deny you a gun?

Doing it that way means the vast majority of guns are in safe hands. Does it stop all incidents? No. But anyone wanting to know to what extent it does, just compare gun stats per capita.

That's the umpteenth time I've explained it, and it's exactly the same number of times gun nuts will fail to store it in their heads. When it comes to storing basic information that proves an American myth wrong, Americans can't absorb and remember it.

First, I agree that your country has far more sensible gun laws than ours. We have background checks in theory, but in reality, they are so watered down as to be a joke. (Think Hunter Biden being high as a kite and still able to buy a gun.)

If you threaten the President on social media, regardless of what party, you will get a visit from the Secret Service.

The problem is that the NRA and the gun industry dictate the laws in this country, and they see the nuts as their primary market. The guy who needs to own enough guns to fight off the Zombie Hoarde, for some reason. (I guess if the Zombies ever do show up, they will look really smart.)

You are a moron.....

Suicide rate per 100,000 U.S. vs Japan....

2022

U.S.....

14.2

Japan....

17.5

You dumb fuck....

That you side with joe...who is the antithesis of everything you actually believe, as seen in your posts in other threads.....is insane.........

Europe ....vs. the U.S...

Case Closed: Kleck Is Still Correct

There are roughly 100,000 people shot in the United States yearly, and something over 30,000 die. If this 1/3 vs. 2/3 ratio of deaths to injuries in actual shootings pertains in these DGUs, that makes for at least 176,000 lives saved—less some attackers who lost their lives to defenders. This enormous benefit dwarfs, both in human and economic terms, the losses trumpeted by hoplophobes who only choose to see the risk side of the equation.

Europe...

In the 1920s, they began the process of registering guns....to make their people safer. That was the lie. by the mid 1930s, the socialists in Germany began the process of banning and confiscating guns, and the same for the countries they defeated......using the gun registration lists created in the 1920s....

By 1939, the German socialists began to murder 15 million - 20 million people....in 6 years.....men, women and over 1 million children.

6 years, 15 million- 20 million murdered citizens..not war dead, innocent people rounded up and murdered in camps and forests....

Including 1 million children

15 million in 6 years.

In the United States, gun murder for our entire 247 year history?

Around 2,470,000

Europe.... 15-20 million murdered in 6 years.

U.S..... 2,470,000 murdered in 247 years

How many hundreds of years will it take the U.S. to catch up with the number of Europeans murdered by their governments.....

Lives saved....based on research? By law abiding gun owners using guns to stop criminals?

You are a moron.....

Suicide rate per 100,000 U.S. vs Japan....

We aren't talking suicide rate, we are talking sheer numbers.

In sheer numbers, the US has more people die by suicide. 49,000 vs. 22,000.

But that's because of culture. The Japanese consider suicide honorable, we don't.

Hey...dumb ass......any threat to the President of the U.S. is investigated by the U.S. Secret Service...you moron.....any threat, by any medium......

Mass murder in Europe caused more deaths than all of the gun murder in the U.S. over our entire 249 year history....and has kept our government from turning into what you now have in Britain...

I found this as a link in an article about the people who die in Canada waiting for medical treatment.......

The original article where I found the link...

So around 30,000 people die waiting for healthcare that never comes or are euthanized by the Canadian government.
---------
Meanwhile, how many Americans were killed with a gun in 2023, which mostly lines up with this time period? 13,529.

The United States has more than eight times the population of Canada, and even massive death and destruction brought about by our gun policy pales in comparison to the number of people the Canadian government managed to kill during that period.
How many gun deaths in Canada?
How many folks in the US die waiting for insurance companies to approve their procedures in the USA.

Yeah...dumb fuck...the rate is what matters since we have more people than Japan has....you idiot...

Population of Japan....124 million

Population of U.S....340 million...you dumb fuck.

Wars always cause a lot of deaths...

We haven't seen a war on our soil since 1865. If the Civil War were fought today, the casualties would be in the millions as well.

(And let's not forget about Native American Genocide, which you seem to like to pretend wasn't a thing that happened.)

Moron...you know because you have been told that the deaths I point out are not war deaths....they are not from combat or collateral damage from combat....they were civilians rounded up by their governments, marched into forests and death camps and murdered....

Native Americans did not suffer genocide, they suffered from diseases from Europe........they did however commit atrocities against each other long before Europeans arrived.

So.....

From. 2006-2023

Gun murder total in the U.S......over 17 years.....

193,419

Europe...

German socialist across Europe......1939-1945.... 6 years.....

Between 15 million - 31 million....

So......I will keep American gun ownership over European mass murder any day of the week.....
