The Governor out there is allocating the limited number of vaccines on a race basis (in part).
California to give 40% of vaccine to Latino, high-risk areas

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California will begin sending 40% of all vaccine doses to the most vulnerable neighborhoods in the state to try to inoculate people most at risk from the coronavirus and get the state’s economy open more quickly, Gov. Gavin Newsom said Thursday in the latest shake-up to the state’s rules.
The doses will be spread among 400 ZIP codes where there are about 8 million people eligible for shots, said Dr. Mark Ghaly, the state’s health and human services secretary. Many of the neighborhoods are in Los Angeles County and the central valley, which have had among the highest rates of infection.
We've all seen the vaccination sites at Dodger Stadium. Why not just take all of the doses that you're targeting to the zip codes down there and send them to Dodger Stadium?
Its disappointing especially given that a lot of minorities are deciding not to get the vaccine...

Just an unforced error by the government out there. All they had to say was "we're opening more distribution sites". Seemed easy enough. But they have to couch their efforts in race availability.
Stupid.
Difficult to see how it’s ‘systematic racism’ when “race and ethnicity are not explicit factors in designating vaccinations…” ibid
Otherwise, the only other option is to allow underserved communities to fall further behind with vaccinations – communities intentionally ignored that have “higher populations of Blacks, Latinos and Asian and Pacific Islanders.” supra
Neglecting minority communities would be a more accurate example of systematic racism.

As a white boy married into a black family I can see what is going on. Funny thing is the black family makes way more money than almost all the white folks I know.
Its not like people are paying a quarter million dollars for the vaccineDems are buying votes with the Covid vaccine, got it.

It’s the Mexifornia way...reward the careless, the unaccountable, the filth.
The best citizens always take a back seat to the filth here in North Mexico.
