6 and to follow up on all that he threw away nearly a thousand of the most modern tanks he had in a sure-to-fail attack on Kursk.

The big mistake invading Russia in 1941. Campaign did go well for some time, only two Russian cities not captured Stalingrad and Moscow, so should have headed for Moscow and decapitated Russian leadership, without Moscow, Stalingrad would have fallen, result victory.
