If you wanna know what a real insurgency looks like, check out what's going on in Syria today. Jan 6 was a protest that got out of hand but it wasn't an insurgency. For sure it was illegal and those involved were punished for it as they should be. But calling it an insurgency is like saying a murder was committed but nobody died.

Jan 6th was an attempted coup, not an insurgency.

It was called an insurrection. Not an insurgency.....and yes, it happened. Despite the constant, desperate attempts to rewrite history and exonerate the savior..

Ah, it took them 10 years and a lot of ammunition to overthrow the government in Syria, before successfully overthrowing the leader and forcing him to flee the country, leaving it in the hands of those that have fought against the tyranny supported by Moscow, to keep control over the people. Who knows, Trumpers might not take as long to overthrow legitimate constitutional control and rule of law in this country. They were just real stupid the first time, being more of a dry run. Now they have political power and department heads moving in place to help overthrow the pillars of democratically elected representative government and the constitution and laws that underpin its existence. They have a real shot at it, now. We could have a top-down, controlled government, serving the new plutocrats and oligarchs much more effectively and with a blind eye to cronyism and breaches of what we now know as laws, before you know it.;)

You're just jealous because they are doing so much better than you guys did.

Or, more likely is that your scenario is nonsense. As long as the Senate filibuster is in place, I seriously doubt Trump can do that much legislative damage. Bear in mind that quite a few repub senators are up for re-election in 2026, twice as many as the dems. And the razor thin GOP majority in the House isn't going to give Trump Carte Blanche either, and on top of that I do not see the Supreme Court allowing Trump to do as he pleases with Executive Orders. You think he has a real shot but I don't think so. And pretty much the good news is that whatever he does can be undone by the next democrat president.

All of which is beside the point of the OP, I am tired of hearing or reading about a freakin' insurgency that didn't come close.

Love the FBI instigators flashing their badges to each other as they go about encouraging mayhem. Zero it out on the budget. They don't do a damn thing

Mind you, I do not support it. I just understand the goals. We don't even know if Trump will settle for not being able to run again.

Does it matter if Trump settles for being ineligible or not? He can scream and holler all he wants, but in Jan 2029 he's gone for good. Can't say as I'll be sorry.

Doesn't matter if he settles for it or not. He now has 24 months until the mid terms, after which he is a lame duck. Then he's going to have to settle for irrelevance. Something he's not going to be able to deal with, mentally, or emotionally.

Trump will leave office a broken, and humiliated fool. Just like he did the first time.

If he survives his second term, for whatever reasons.

Sounds like someone is already broken

Ya sound like an old woman OMG....OMg
We have read many on here, supporting trump say he deserves another, as the Democrats didn't let him do what he wanted and used lawfare against him. I'm not saying they can pull it off without a civil war, but hey, it took a civil war to get rid of Assad and the Russians, didn't it?

Jan 6th was an attempted coup

An attempted coup with flags, a toy "gallows" and a few zip ties where the "insurgents" walked around taking selfies.

Only by the leftwing media and boobs like you. Not one legal expert or prosecutor called it that and not one person has been charged with an insurrection, you ass. Quit trying to rewrite history.
It was an insurrection, slugger. And I am not leftwing. No history to rewrite. Everyone saw it live on TV that day.
Go analyze some handwriting...or whatever makes you happy. :)

It was an insurrection
Only in your diseased, forgotten mind.

And I am not leftwing.
I know, you are a communist. You need to move right to be leftwing.

No history to rewrite.
Nope. Nobody cares about J6 except you desperate trolls.

Everyone saw it live on TV that day.
Yep, I watched it. I saw a lot of pissed off protesters who wanted the 2020 election properly vetted before finally counted whom the police there agitated into a riot hoping to lay it all on Donald Trump. Thanks for helping to get him reelected, fool! :auiqs.jpg:

Go analyze some handwriting...
Still waiting for that specimen.

TDS has broken your brain.

Put the Koolaid down and step away.

The only people calling J6 an insurrection and/or coup are Democrats and their supporters. What authoritative body has called it one of these names?

It was a riot replete with vandalism. That’s it.
