Why oil prices may remain strong, war or no war..
Some analysts are reporting possible $150 per barrel oil for Brent North Sea Crude.
For West Texas Intermediate( US) prices could hit $130 should the US attack Syria.
With the attack an near certainty, expect gas prices to spike as much as 50 cents per gallon.
Of course this will scuttle the US economy as Americans concerned with the cost of getting to work slam shut their wallets.
Nice. We're going to shoot a few hundred missiles at Syria for no apparent reason and wipe out any hint of minimal economic gains. Gotta love this stuff.

Why would West Texas oil spike? Isn't the oil in the ground ours? Why would the producers of our oil sell it at prices set by OPEC?

And, BTW, who are behind the attacks on clean energy development?

All crude futures are traded on open markets.
NYMEX is one such market.
OPEC DOES NOT set prices.
Where did you get that from?

What attacks might those be?
This clean energy thing is a big taxpayer funded bust.
So many companies invested in 'clean energy' have gone broke, out of business or have stopped manufacturing the products.
In some cases, these companies cannot get their stuff in place.
This mainly applies ot wind farms. There was a proposal to place a wind farm atop the NC's Blue Ridge mountain range. Killed. There was another proposal to place them in the ocean off Martha's Vineyard...Killed.
Let's not change the subject....Why would you post as link to a list of PBS tv programs? What's that got to do with anything?

Is Saudi Arabia going to be willing to cover the expenses for our rising fuel costs too ?

What do you expect? Obama's douchebaggery is just another excuse to get more money out of us.

Well no shit. Oil prices are gonna go up! OMG what will we do? You people piss me off because you are so stupid. What THE **** did you people think was going to happen? This is the least of your worries.

Wake up. If you can get out of this country do it. If you cannot, dig in.
