If anyone had bothered to read the whole link, they would have seen that it wasn't so much that she was insulting Islam, it's that she was using hateful speech to denounce it. And, hate to tell you guys, but there are laws against hate speech here in the US as well.

Despite her denial, Westerberg was convicted of 16 counts of hatred against a people. This involved the fact that in derogatory terms she commented on videos published by terrorists in the Islamic State, in which various forms of executions took place. Her comments were emotional, with quotes such as “Islam must be eradicated” and “We must unite to eradicate the invasion of pedophile worshipers”.

She was calling for Islam to be totally eradicated. Anyone else remember when a country wanted to eradicate a religion? That's right...........Germany tried to eradicate the Jews.
