Right or wrong it didn't matter, China owned the W.H.O and world again, exporting their ideology of the shutdowns. The vaccine which didnt prevent the spread was also pushed with poor information as long as some could profit from it. Early on, ok, shutdowns were needed as knowledge was scarce. After it became clear how and whom it impacted, policies should have shifted everywhere. I believe it would have shortened the life of the virus and also forced those with higest risk to be MORE cautious, not less.

Had there been a competent response from the very top of our government to COVID-19 at the very start, most of the lockdowns wouldn't have been necessary.
