I'm not surprised given the news these days.

Synopsis: a student shut down her computer somehow and she sent him a threat of shooting via Snapchat "joking" of course. It was auto reported to the FBI and police showed up in an hour.

"Student Teacher" means she is still in college. Very stupid, but why would she even think to do something like that and not realize how serious it would be for her?

Every day on the news, she sees people screaming at, harassing, threatening and even assaulting, law enforcement officers and being applauded for it by the media. Why wouldnt she think a little jest about shooting a kid would be fine?

The officer obviously feels sorry for her. I do also. She has changed her life with that impulsive social media post. She probably believed snapchat's claim of disappearing posts.

What has happened to teacher preparation programs that are not warning of this danger? I never text or other social media with any student. Once in a while I get a facebook friend request which I ignore. I don't even like to exchange emails with students on the school email, but it has become a job requirement.

I'm sure tiktok would hire her in a minute. So I guess she'll be okay.

Bullying and threatening online or on social media should be treated as a deadly and violent threat.

Get rid of bullies, and half of the battle is won.

This is what the left's assassination culture has wrought.
