This is the present and future of every Police State known to man. Do NOT emulate us America. Read your Constitution and Bill of Rights and demand that it is abided by. If there is anything I can convey in the destruction and crimes committed against me since I was a kid, it is this. If you remain American with Values of G-d and sacrifice for liberty, you will avoid the future that is set in stone in corrupt Canada, lead by Ontario. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/struggle-meals-trend-1.7646169.
Hamburger helper. Instant ramen. Tuna noodle casserole.

We're in the midst of a dinner throwback era, but unlike wide-legged jeans and the resurgence of DVDs, this trend has nothing do with nostalgia.

So-called "struggle meals" are trending right now as consumers grapple with the high price of food and seek affordable meal options. It's a new term for an old solution — struggle meals are inexpensive and simple, often made from cheap items or what might already be in your pantry.

What’s so bad about hamburger helper? It’s delicious

Plus, with hamburger being so expensive, it’s not like it’s that cheap to make anyway

Delicious isnt healthy. It is high in sodium and it only has hamburger as any real food within. Might as well just eat a plain burger without a bun. What is occuring in Canada is a massive calamity. The collapse is near and it is going to take massive record of debt to avoid it. The Police State destroyed it's host, from.the RCMP on down....the creeps won and Canadians lost. I am just the Messenger... Ontario is going to collapse first and it's going to be frightening to observe.

Yeah, news flash, good tasting food is often not very healthy

And pasta is real food….

Even the pasta appears different. I'd bet they are add flour or other ingredients. Regardless, thisthis is just an aside to the bigger issie, Canada is.collapsing. The Police State is going to prevail. America better understand and demand from Canada the upholding of human rights and civil liberties. I feel there may be some of this behind the scenes in tariff discussions. He has focused on Ontario, Quebec and B.C in particular.

Hamburger Helper is yummy but it is ultra-processed junk food. It fills your body with free radicals and endocrine disruptors.

It's healthier and cheaper to make your own without crap like soybean oil and soy protein isolates and whatever. For the pasta all you need is flour and water although I prefer to use egg noodles. And you can get flavorings from your spice rack.

No excuse, beans and brown rice is a better staple for your health.

I have been using food banks for quite some time now because I can't really afford real grocery.

Growing up we were always more a Rice a Roni family. I liked the Spanish rice and the Chicken rice the best.

Usually they went with chicken cutlets and either canned green beans or canned corn.

.

I remember a couple of months of poverty that had BF and I eating rice with instant gravy.

When we were feeling wealthy, we'd indulge in Rice-A-Roni.
