Stonehenge was built by Black Britons

and there is no possibility that cheddar man was a slave, brought to Britain from another country?

Cheddar Man belonged to haplogroup I2 in the paternal line and to haplogroup U5b1 in the maternal line. Both haplogroups are typically European, which are very rare or non-existent in Africa. Researchers thus concluded that Cheddar Man was a local man. Haplogroup I2 is continental Europe's largest Mesolithic paternal lineage. It is common among Slavic and Germanic people.

The dark skin and blue eyes phenotype combination was likely very common among WHGs and it has been inferred for four out of five Mesolithic and Upper Paleolithic individuals in western and central Europe. Moreover, the allelic states at the h-1 defining positions suggest that La Braña, Loschbour and Villabruna carried this haplotype. The haplotype determination was inconclusive for the remaining individuals due to alternative alleles and missing data at informative positions. All individuals from this group were predicted to have a dark hair color, where Loschbour, Villabruna and Bichon probably had black hair, whereas La Braña and KO1 present similar probabilities of having brown or black hair(Supplementary Table 1).

I find it curious that Egyptians are not really viewed as "black" even though they lived in Africa and had darker skin.

It's kind of the Zimmerman dilemma. Sure, he is Hispanic, but he shot a black with a gun to keep order on the streets, so that makes him a white supremacist nut.

They rarely portrayed themselves as black in their own paintings, just one or two here and there.

Stonehenge was built by black Britons, a new children’s history book has claimed.

The illustrated book entitled Brilliant Black British History, by the Nigerian-born British author Atinuke, says “every single British person comes from a migrant” but “the very first Britons were black”.

Readers of the newly-released book are told that Stonehenge was built while Britain was “a black country”.

The book, published by Bloomsbury and promoted by Arts Council-funded literacy charity The Book Trust, states that “Britain was a black country for more than 7,000 years before white people came, and during that time the most famous British monument was built, Stonehenge.”

The introduction says that “Britain has been a mostly white country for a lot less time than it has been a mostly black country”.

Comment:
History books should be a truthful as possible.
It is surprising that the book was published.
It's sad that some Children might read and believe this book.
It's accurate.

"A children's book" tells you everything you need to know. Put it on the shelf with the legend that black people had the ability to fly in prehistoric times (or earlier).
