But the font, the lettering color and the style, bore likeness to The Velvet Bandit’s work — in particular a piece she featured in a recent TikTok video that went viral, snagging more than nearly 380,000 views.

There are no damages.

If what AOC did is similar to something one artist did, that doesn't mean that AOC did something wrong or plagiarized anyone.

Just like Ray Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 and tried to sue Michael Moore over the title of his movie Fahrenheit 9-11.

Bradbury lost big time.

And Michael Moore actually did make money off that movie where AOC didn't make a penny of wearing that dress.
