Stoking Division Amid Disaster, Trump and His Minions Betray America

The fire in Los Angeles proves that I do. There's no way you claim that California had properly prepared for this eventuality.

No one said that.

You know nothing about what has been done. And you clearly know nothing about how fire hydrants work, much less anything else.

So, the City of Los Angeles and the state did the best that could be done? There's no way to improve on their response to the fire?

And you illustrate your confidence in your own ignorance, laced with deplorable vulgarity. I suppose that was to cover for the fact that you know he’s right (a it’s obvious to the rest of us).
He's lying. I never made any unsupported claims.

"The solidarity of American communities in the face of catastrophe, whether natural or manmade, is an aspect of our national character that most of us cherish. We never tire of stories about our fellow citizens upholding one another at the worst of times. We venerate the firefighters, emergency service workers, law enforcement officers and ordinary neighbors whose endurance and sacrifice hold communities together against cruel circumstance — without regard to race, creed, color, gender or partisan affiliation.

Or at least we did during much of our history. Yet as huge swaths of Los Angeles are consumed by wildfire, it is striking to see those traditional American values torched by a self-serving coterie of right-wing billionaires, whose loyalty to any principle beyond self-aggrandizement is nil: Rupert Murdoch, Elon Musk and of course their political avatar Donald Trump, the president-elect.

While the LA blaze rages on, all three of these men have used their gigantic public platforms to stoke a different but exceptionally destructive conflagration. Rather than encourage patriotic bonding and mutual aid, they broadcast messages of division, hatred and suspicion, served up in a poisonous stew of blatant lies, conspiracy theories and wretched nonsense."

With his divisive lies, Trump continues to prove he’s unfit to be president.

The Democrats shit the bed. Deal with it.

That is precisely what you and your ilk are doing.

Using this tragedy to make idiotic, baseless attacks on the people doing the work, and parading your usual set of stick figure “enemies¥ and engaging in open flagrant baseless bigotry.
:fu:

What lies?

He tried to get California to store water before, they stupidly did the opposite and their reservoirs are empty.

How dare they point out the incompetence of the people in charge of California!

It’s all tRump’s fault!!!

Newsflash for Jones and Democrats, California's fires are not Trump's fault. You can stop that today

I'm not seeing that Trump's words and actions are any more divisive than what Biden and the Democrat party have been doing for the last nine years.

Fight fire with lesbians!

Be specific. What should have been done differently?
Having zero large area fire fighting training,
Think would be nice if we had some kindness towards other Americans in the loss of their homes.
Would like to think I would help those in disaster situation, not abuse them for belonging to a different political party.
