You need not try. The public has registered the stark difference between the President's leadership in the matter and that of the former guy. If your adamantine ideological affinity is for that of the former guy, insisting that the President is fulfilling the policies of the former guy makes the former guy's lying about his winning in a "landslide!" and inciting his goons to attack Congress and savage America's noble history of peaceful transfers of power all the more unnecessary.
