Senator Chris McDaniel (Facebook post) I don't say this lightly. It's rumored that President Obama is preparing to take executive action on guns within the next few days, after being rebuffed by Congress. Well, if he usurps power that does not belong to him under our system, then it's time for urgent action. We've had enough. If he doesn't respect the document he's sworn to uphold, then he doesn't deserve to hold his office.

All the whining about usurping power that doesn't belong to him. Obama has had the authority to do everything he has done so far, and I see no reason to believe that will change. Just because you don't want him to have that authority changes nothing.

Idiot! He is an idiot.

25th amendment
Section 4.
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
25th Amendment

So, the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or (the Vice President and) Congress. Otherwise one is talking about impeachment and a trail in the Senate, where a conviction is needed.

Good luck with that imbecility at this stage of the game. Why do conservatives gloat when their intelligence is insulted by Republicans?

I see dainty, in his usual derangement, THINKS that in the OP the word IMPEACHMENT was posted..... What a moron!

poor Vigina-boi "Well, if he usurps power that does not belong to him under our system, then it's time for urgent action. We've had enough. If he doesn't respect the document he's sworn to uphold, then he doesn't deserve to hold his office." -- Vig

There are only two ways to remove a sitting President. I listed them. Vagina-boi prattles on...

NOW. tell them to do their jobs WE THE PEOPLE sent them up there to do. and that was to put a stop to that thug who doesn't think he needs to abide by our Constitution and instead want's to BY PASS or more like (steamroll over you) and your Representation in Congress. good grief get on the phones, email, smoke signals.

'We the people?' you mean 'We the good squad mob' dontja?

I always laugh when pundits and their sheep spew their amateur takes on constitutional law, going up against a President who graduated magna cum laude from Harvard law, was President of the Harvard Law Review and a professor of constitutional law at Columbia.

I guess you should have voted for someone with a backbone, but that s so hard to find on the right.

Well, this is ignorant and wrong, nothing by partisan politics.

The president isn't 'usurping' anything, he's issuing an EO in good faith pursuant to existing Federal law, providing instructions as to how the law is to be enforced – in no way 'creating' new law, nor 'amending' existing law.

Yes, exhibit your ignorance and stupidity to your elected representatives.

I guess we just understand what "shall not be infringed" means. You and Barrack Hussein Obama seem to have failed there.

Sure he's got balls, but they are someone else's, and he's just cupping them for a little while.

You mean Affirmative Action Jackson, the socially promoted high school dropout president who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground?
The only reason his unconstitutional health insurance Marxist power play went through is because a bad SC judge determined it was a tax that the ignoramus Obama said it wasn't.

Actually, it was a majority of supreme court judges.

Only one changed it from mandate to tax.
Which was unconstitutional.

I don't think you understand how it works. It takes a majority of the justices to agree for anything to pass or fail. The reason each particular justice votes the way they do isn't really a deciding factor.
