That is absolutely retarded, and good point about the travel cost. But what about rivalries. I mean if not the greatest in all of sports, definitely within the top three. Duke/Carolina. I mean two world class programs, 20 miles apart on Highway 54. And then, go another 20 miles and wind up on the NC State campus. An hour west, Wake Forest. Clemson is right across the border in South Carolina, and South Carolina, located in Columbia, and Maryland, were the outliers. That was the original group, Virginia was added a little later.
