Many members of the American public have rethought their opinion on stand your ground laws before and after the GZ/TM tragedy, not just Obama. It is shocking how the law allowed a man to profile, pursue, and shoot a young man innocent of wrongdoing and call it self-defense. When a law intended to stop murders ends up legitimizing them instead, it's time to question it.

To suit your line of thinking the law should be as follows:

If a person has been profiled as "Being up to no good" and followed (at any distance), he has the right to beat the shit out of the person following him, and the follower has no right to self defense.
