Been going on long before she took over as Mayor. Was stationed there on Recruiting duty in the early 2000s and worked downtown in the Fed Building. There were places I would not run through even during the daylight hours.

It has gotten much better downtown, but the north side is still a mess.

I drove through St Louis in 1985 and it was a bad place then also.
