Springfield clinches the top spot in Missouri by a wide margin...securing the 57th ranking of "best 150 places to live in the U.S" as ranked by US News and World Report.

Green Bay, Wisconsin nabbed the number one spot on the list, followed by Huntsville, Alabama and Raleigh & Durham, North Carolina.

Boulder, Colorado, Sarasota, Florida and Naples, Florida rounded out the top six.

Missouri's two largest urban centers also made the list... Kansas City at #73 and Saint Louis squeaking into the top ⅔rds at #100.

Florida, North & South Carolina seemed to have cleaned up for most cities on the list.

Springfield/Branson gets a lot of retirees because it's very affordable.

Huntsville alabama is a dangerous place to be

The list only includes metro areas. Small towns and cities need not apply.
