I'd love to see the greatest sports event of all time- the 1991 running of the $2500 Claiming Race at Mountaineer Park in Newell, WV.

Doctor of Medicine won the mile and 70 yards race on the dirt by a head, although he went off at 17 to 1.

Tremendous race as he went 4 wide at the top of the stretch and won by a head over the favored #1 horse

They can play that instead of the Super Bowl

A lot of people like stakes races, but IMHO, your lower priced claiming races are a lot more exciting. Does a horse really give a shit about running for the roses? Or even a large purse? Especially compared to racing to save themselves from a trip to the glue factory or a Frenchman's dinner plate? Even the jockeys are motivated to save themselves from losing their work visa and being shipped back to Panama or some other Shit Hole.

I cant re watch a sporting event anymore than I can re read a book or watch a movie twice.

I just saw yesterday when Tyson first won the championship. That was great to see again
