There's no missing dollar. You are simply framing the math incorrectly.3 construction workers working from out of town walk into the office of a one story motel .. its a small place , not fancy , just heat air and cable ECT .. its privately owned and managed by the owner and his son .. they ask how much a room for the 1 night is .. the owner replies 30 bucks for 1 night .. the 3 workers said we'll save money and share one room .. so they each give the owner 10 bucks .. they then drew straws over who slept on the bed , the couch , and the floor .. after the men left to go to their room the owner looked at his son and said its obvious those guys are strapped for money so i'm going to give them a 5 dollar discount .. he gives his son 5 one dollar bills and tells him to give it to the guys that rented the room .. on the way down the hall to the room the son figured it was to much of a hassle to split 5 dollars between 3 people so he pocketed 2 dollars and gave each of the men 1 dollar .. so instead of 30 dollars [10 bucks apiece] the 3 men paid 9 dollars apiece .. that ads up to 27 dollars .. the son kept 2 dollars .. add that to the 27 bucks the men paid and it comes out to 29 dollars .. so the question is .. where the heck did the other dollar go !
but the men payed 27 .. and the son kept 2 ..There's no missing dollar.
The proprietor kept $25
The son kept $2
The workers got $3
25+2+3=30
...and the proprietor kept 25.but the men payed 27 .. and the son kept 2 ..
RACIST ! the point of the riddle is the way the total changes when it is looked at from a different angle .....and the proprietor kept 25.
27=2+25
Are you black?It's not that complicated.
So, do you believe that there is a missing $1, or that this is a riddle, with no missing $1.RACIST ! the point of the riddle is the way the total changes when it is looked at from a different angle ..
y'all taking the fun out of the whole thing !So, do you believe that there is a missing $1, or that this is a riddle, with no missing $1.
