United States of America
Here is a little something that I was playing around with:

Is the United States on the right path, or have we somehow deviated from our intended purpose? From our creation we were eager to quench our thirst for justice; quick to celebrate our birthright of liberty, of freedom and all its blessings. This liberty that we have bled for, fought for, and died for, does not only reside within our borders. It is not only applicable to nations such as our own. From this point on, it is incumbent upon us to once again set an example for the world to follow. Since her birth, the United States has been set forth upon the world stage, with all the lights illuminating her decisions. We have set precedents throughout the world, and now the time has come to where we return to our leadership role, in order to fulfill the greatest aspirations that humanity has; to be free.
Many millions of men and women have died over time, to assure the freedoms that we so highly regard as natural and self-evident truths. We must not allow their deaths to be in vain. I do not think that we choose to be born. Subsequently I would concede to the notion of not allowing one group to endure more atrocities or sacrifices than another, if adequate means can be offered to heed such atrocities. Our moral compass should allow for such measures to be taken, as much as to alleviate preventable atrocities and sacrifices. How can a nation, so dedicated to liberty, sit idly by while others in the world are denied the basic and most fundamental rights known to man, or might we abide the idea that all shall bathe in the luxuries of freedom and liberty? Those who shall deny a people their liberty and freedom must no longer be allowed to operate unchecked throughout the world.
Too long have tyrants been able to spill innocent blood without repercussions. Too long have tyrants been able to hide behind their sovereignty while committing crimes against humanity. Too long have tyrants been able to starve their population of freedom while producing oppression. But a new day has dawned, to which the United States will say, “no more.” No more will tyrants be allowed to hide behind their sovereignty to commit humanitarian violations. No more will we sit by and allow thousands of innocent people to be slaughtered like sheep. No more will the world tolerate such regimes. Rulers and governments must be reminded from time to time their duty to preserve the inalienable rights that are endowed to all people, regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. And that citizens reserve the spirit of resistance, albeit by force if necessary, to remind said governments. And if the citizens cannot overthrow oppression independently, they will be aided by the United States. We will be justified in the independent stance we take. Our government as well as our society must have apt responses to this convoluted world. We have a sacred obligation to negate tyrannical governments who use oppression and mass-murder as instruments of policy. We must act now, and not hesitate long for time wastes all too fast.
We must not lose faith in the future, but seek to establish a more secure, and beneficial one for all generations to come. We shall stand high upon the shoulders of our ancestors, and continue building on their dreams. Creating a world where oppression, genocide, and ethnic cleansing are no longer tolerated, a world where regimes who seek to profit off of the suffering of their people forfeit their right to govern. This will not only secure the freedoms of those living today, but of millions unborn. For if all people are born free, so shall they remain.

If you believe the US should police the whole world and guarantee everyone's freedom, I'm sure you'll be the first to enlist in the Army to support that cause...right?

Idealistic and naive. Surely the nations of the world have endured tyrants and despots. But the United States has a bleak track record where assuring tyrants and despots are eliminated from leadership roles.

We have supported some of the most despicable leaders in an effort to access resources and trade from their nations. The people of the Philippines, Iraq, Iran, Panama, Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Honduras, Thailand, Nicaragua and Cuba could answer your argument far more effectively than I.

That's not to say that the United States is an evil nation or a nation that deals exclusively with propping up despots. But our history makes your argument ring hollow.
