Since then, Africa, once harshly labelled by this newspaper as ā€œthe hopeless continentā€, has begun to make bold strides.
Meanwhile South Africa, though still a treasure trove of minerals with the most sophisticated economy on the continent, is on the slide both economically and politically (see article). By some calculations Nigeriaā€™s economy, messy as it is, will overtake it within a few years. What went wrong with South Africa, and how can it be fixed?

What went wrong with it ?
I'll tell you what went wrong with it.
Asshole Eurotrash political elites, without giving a damn about who the qualified people SIMPLY ARE, period, Decided that the economic wellbeing of south Africa is second to TOTAL freedom RIGHT NOW... of people who at best, are 3rd, 4th or 5th graders, never ran the country in their lives, don't know how to run a country, and isn't competent, and doesn't know anything.

and NO time whatsoever for a Controlled Integration program, No time to Desegregate the Schools and teach them anything...

No time to invest ANYTHING in educating them.

Just... the end of Apartheid, that has been in existence there for LIFETIMES... NOW, and have a bunch a STUPID wild men running around taking over everything, and don't know SHIT about ANY OF IT.

That's what happened to South Africa.

Blue Jay, once female but now male, has never been to South Africa either but, nonetheless knows all there is to know.

He/she is wrong though. Too bad he/she didn't go further back than apartheid.
