I believed Trump when he said he was going to dismantle the Deep State, but I never imagined the treachery was this extensive - or that Trump and team would move with such speed.

This was indeed the most consequential election of my life, and it came down to a choice as to whether we wanted to go back to being America, or continue down the path to a corrupt Banana Republic.

The other thing is that the speed shows the difference between private and government. Businesspeople are used to having a goal, and achieving it quickly because time is money. With govt employees, there’s no sense of that, and so everything is dragged out forever, and they continue to get paid regardless.
