This is getting silly, nobody is trying to bring back slavery. The Confederate flag is part of history and when I look at it I see a symbol of history and a faction of people who fought for what they believed in. The Civil war was not all about slavery by a long shot

For the south it was primarily about slavery.

The Confederates fought to preserve protect, defend and expand the right to own black human beings.

It is particularly interesting the lack of hatred the Sons of the Confederacy have when caring for the Union dead interned here in the South.
Most people don't have the slightest clue what it is like to walk through any cemetery in the South (established during the era) and see rows of simple markers identifying USA or CSA resting next to each other for eternity.

Where anyone that qualifies could choose to be part of the group ... Most people simply don't qualify.
They also have a decent vetting process to ensure racists are not part of the organization ... That aspect doesn't address anything in their purpose.
